Marboflex 10 mg Oral Tablet is a white – cream coloured, bone shaped tablet with a notch line in the middle. Each tablet contains 10 mg of marbofloxacin.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
It is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to marbofloxacin in dogs and cats.
Dogs: Used in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections (pyoderma, impetigo, folliculitis, furunculosis, cellulitis) caused by microorganisms susceptible to marbofloxacin, urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria which are either related or not related to prostatitis, respiratory tract infections.
Cats: Used in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections (wounds, abscesses, phlegmons) and upper respiratory tract infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to marbofloxacin.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTES AND AMOUNTS
Administer orally at the dose of 2 mg/kg bw/day; i.e. 1 tablet / 5 kg bw, unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian.
Dogs:
In skin and soft tissue infections the treatment period should be at least 5 days. This period can be extended up to 40 days depending on the prognosis.
In urinary tract infections the treatment period should be at least 10 days. This period can be extended up to 28 days depending on the prognosis.
In respiratory tract infections the treatment period should be at least 7 days. This period can be extended up to 21 days depending on the prognosis.
Cats:
In skin and soft tissue infections the treatment period should be 3 – 5 days.
In upper respiratory tract infections the treatment period should be 5 days.
